Details of the Job/Internship
SLB is hiring a Legal Attorney with 6–8 years of experience to join its India Legal Team in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the India Contracts Manager in advising management on business plans and operations.
- Independently draft, review, and negotiate various legal and commercial documents.
- Manage pre-contractual disputes and oversee litigation processes in coordination with external counsels.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013, FEMA, DPDP Act, and Labor laws.
- Facilitate timely corporate filings and liaise with external legal experts.
- Conduct legal and contracts training for management and other internal functions.
- Develop and implement legal procedures, guidelines, and standardized templates.
- Contribute to the SLB Legal Knowledge Management System and maintain legal web content.
Eligibility
- Possession of a legal degree (B.S.L. LL.B., LL.B., or LL.M.).
- Valid admission to the bar.
- Minimum 6–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in-house role.
- Strong background in corporate law with exceptional drafting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Technologically literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours when required by operational needs.
