Details of the Job/Internship
Unilever is hiring a Legal Business Partner – Foods with 10 to 12 years of experience, preferably 4-5 years in the foods sector, to join their Mumbai Head Office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support business units by ensuring advertising materials comply with legal standards, including claims and product promotions.
- Advise on product classification, packaging declarations, and claim substantiation.
- Handle complaints related to product claims and initiate complaints against competitors’ claims.
- Manage litigation involving comparative advertising or superiority claims.
- Draft and review agreements such as celebrity endorsements, joint promotions, and collaborations.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring proper documentation and timely renewals.
- Document external relationships via contracts and terms & conditions and provide ongoing legal advice.
- Address high-risk consumer complaints for effective resolution.
Eligibility
- B.A.LL.B. degree.
- 10 to 12 years of legal experience in the FMCG sector.
- Preferred 4-5 years specifically in the foods industry.
