Details of the Job/Internship
Unilever is hiring a Legal Business Partner – Foods with 10–12 years of experience to join their Mumbai Head Office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Partner with the Foods India Business Unit to provide strategic legal guidance.
- Support advertising material, including product claims and promotions, ensuring legal compliance.
- Advise on product classification, packaging declarations, and claim substantiation.
- Handle complaints and litigation related to product and competitor claims.
- Draft and review agreements including endorsement, collaboration, and promotion contracts.
- Oversee contract management, including documentation and renewals.
- Advise on T&Cs and manage high-risk consumer complaint responses.
- Cultivate process orientation and excellence within the legal team.
Eligibility
- B.A.LL.B. with 10–12 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
- Preferred: 4–5 years of experience in the foods industry.
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, Legal Metrology, Contract Law, and Consumer Laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
