Details of the Job/Internship

Manappuram Finance Ltd. is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal collection officer to join them at their office in Kerala. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle legal cases for overdue accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with legal teams, advocates, and collection agencies for effective recovery.
• Prepare and serve legal notices to delinquent customers.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings and court cases.
• Ensure timely follow-up and closure of recovery cases.
• Maintain accurate records of legal actions and recovery status.
• Build rapport with customers to facilitate amicable settlements.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Law).
• Freshers can also apply Prior experience in legal collections or recovery is a plus.
• Familiarity with SARFAESI Act, Arbitration, and other legal recovery processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Salary/Stipend
