LIXIL India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal & Commercial Counsel with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to join their Legal & Compliance team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with business, marketing, compliance, HR, tax, and finance teams to provide timely legal input.
- Coordinate with global COE teams such as IPR and Data Privacy for region-specific matters.
- Manage litigation and liaise with external counsels.
- Utilize legal technology tools, including Contract Lifecycle Management and Compliance Management Systems.
- Support special projects like process improvement, audits, regulatory responses, real estate expansion, and e-commerce initiatives.
- Develop internal templates, playbooks, and policies to streamline commercial processes.
- Monitor regulatory developments in IMEA regions, focusing on India.
- Conduct legal training and provide guidance to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed Indian institution.
- • Master’s in Law or Company Secretary qualification preferred.
- • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in MNCs.
- • Experience in transaction advisory within law firms is an advantage.
- • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
