Details of the Job/Internship
Bullsmart is hiring a Company Secretary with 3–5 years of experience to lead and manage its company secretarial and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, including the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI Act and Regulations, and Insider Trading Regulations.
- Handle all secretarial functions such as Board and General Meetings, shareholder relations, litigation, agenda and minutes preparation, e-filing of statutory documents, and maintenance of registers and records.
- Interface with regulatory authorities like ROC, SEBI, Stock Exchanges, and RBI.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts to safeguard company interests.
- Provide legal and business-focused advice to HR, Finance, Operations, and IT departments.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Advise on data privacy compliance, including DPDPA requirements.
- Develop and maintain a repository of standard legal templates and clauses.
- Liaise with and manage external legal firms effectively.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary (Law degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a medium-sized listed entity.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and secretarial practices.
