Details of the Job/Internship
Samtel Avionics Ltd. is hiring a Head Legal & Company Secretary with 10+ years of experience to manage corporate legal affairs and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
- Manage and advise on corporate governance, board meetings, and shareholder meetings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on private equity transactions and investments.
- Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks and policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to align legal strategy with business objectives.
Eligibility
- CS or LLB degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong legal background.
- Experience working with private equity players and joint venture partners.
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, governance, and industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in similar roles within large corporates or law firms.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
