Details of the Job/Internship
Cvent is hiring a Legal Counsel – Ethics & Compliance with 10+ years of post-qualification experience to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise and collaborate with HR on employee matters, including investigations, POSH, disputes, and employment agreements.
- Conduct and oversee internal investigations, including managing ethics hotlines and documentation.
- Support the design and implementation of the ethics and compliance program.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organisation.
- Deliver compliance training and communications.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership.
- Implement automation and AI-enabled compliance tools.
- Handle additional projects as assigned by the management team.
Eligibility
- Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience in India employment law compliance.
- Strong expertise in employment laws; APAC/EMEA experience is an advantage.
- Experience in handling investigations, including interviews and evidence assessment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as data privacy, trade compliance, FCPA, and anti-bribery.
- Familiarity with ethics hotlines, LMS tools, and compliance/GRC systems.
- Experience supporting global operations and working with senior leadership.
