Details of the Job/Internship

Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements, including vendor, franchise, licensing, and consultancy contracts.
• Handle F&B-related contracts such as leases, rentals, and service agreements.
• Manage financing and corporate transaction documentation, including shareholder agreements and joint ventures.
• Develop standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
• Provide legal advisory to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Interpret regulatory changes and support business expansion initiatives.
• Manage dispute resolution and litigation strategy with external counsel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including FEMA and other regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee legal due diligence for transactions and investments.
• Implement and manage contract lifecycle management systems and compliance tools.
• Drive automation and digitisation of legal processes.
• Maintain contract repositories and monitor contract lifecycle activities.
• Improve legal processes and mentor junior team members.

Eligibility

• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including FEMA.
• Experience in legal advisory, compliance, and governance.
• Familiarity with LegalTech tools and contract lifecycle management systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
