Details of the Job/Internship
Anand Rathi Insurance Brokers Ltd. is hiring a Legal Compliance Manager with 4–5 years of experience to manage and guide the legal and compliance function in Mumbai. The role involves leading the team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business needs through effective legal and compliance advisory.
Role and Responsibilities
- Acting as a self-motivated leader to guide, engage, and mentor the legal and compliance team.
- Providing legal and compliance advisory to the business.
- Handling litigation and coordinating with advocates and lawyers.
- Managing contracts and reviewing legal templates, including MSA, SLA, NDA, TOBA, and MOU.
- Managing IRDAI-related matters, including regulatory knowledge, filings, inspections, audits, and reviews.
- Preparing, vetting, and monitoring SOPs and internal policies.
- Driving digitalisation of manual processes with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
- Preparing data, presentations, matrices, and documentation for the Board.
- Adopting new methods to streamline workflows, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
- Introducing and maintaining trackers, processes, policies, and documentation to ensure structured data management and reduced turnaround time.
- Training and mentoring junior team members on regulatory compliance and the legal framework.
Eligibility
- LLB or Company Secretary qualification, or both.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience.
