CFO & LEGAL is hiring for the position of Legal Compliance Manager to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs aligned with U.S. banking laws and regulations.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory frameworks, including FATCA, FCRA, RESPA, TILA, AML/BSA, and others.
- Prepare and review legal documentation and compliance reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal standards.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. banking laws, offering strategic legal guidance to clients and leadership.
- Stay current on regulatory developments and provide proactive updates and risk analysis.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in regulatory and legal compliance, particularly within U.S. financial and banking sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws: FATCA, FCRA, RESPA, TILA, AML/BSA.
- Strong skills in compliance management, legal documentation, and regulatory interpretation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field is required; JD or equivalent legal qualification preferred.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong advantage.
