Details of the Job/Internship
CIMET is looking for a candidate with 5 years of experience for the position of Legal Compliance Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- Engage with Australian regulators on all compliance matters related to CIMET's operations.
- Stay updated on ACL and other regulatory guidelines, implementing necessary steps to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by Australian authorities.
- Ensure all staff adhere to CIMET’s core values and compliance standards. Audit processes, practices, and documents to identify and eliminate risks of non-compliance.
- Draft and revise company policies to uphold all relevant regulations and laws.
- Work with internal and external auditors and various departments to ensure strict compliance.
- Educate and train staff on regulatory guidelines, internal processes, and industry practices. Address any compliance-related concerns or questions.
- Coordinate with legal consultants on CIMET’s legal matters and provide necessary information.
- Participate in structuring terms and reviewing legal documents for transactions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Additional certifications in compliance or legal domains are preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, with a focus on financial services. Experience with Australian regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
