Details of the Job/Internship
Eastman Auto & Power Ltd (EAPL) is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Compliance officer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and procedures for Indian and foreign subsidiary companies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure subsidiaries comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations.
- Assist in the creation, review, and revision of company policies and procedures to ensure subsidiaries’ compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on risk management and mitigation strategies for the subsidiaries.
- Assist in the coordination and management of regulatory inspections and audits for the subsidiaries.
- Provide support on legal matters for the subsidiaries as needed, including contract reviews, legal research, and other legal tasks.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, legal
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Must be comfortable to travel within Delhi/NCR and internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree, in Law.
- Qualified or semi qualified Company Secretary will be an added advantage.
