Approved by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), M1 NXT operates the International Trade Financing Services (ITFS) Platform in GIFT City, specializing in cross-border trade finance.
Details of the Job/Internship
M1xchange is hiring for the position of Legal Compliance Manager with 8-10 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, Documentary Collections, and Standby Letters of Credit.
- Draft, vet, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including Business Agreements, Aggregator Agreements, NDAs, Referral Agreements, Service Provider Agreements, and Software Licensing Agreements.
- Ensure compliance with IFSCA regulations, SEZ laws, and ITFS platform-specific requirements.
- Draft legal documents such as undertakings, declarations, authority letters, notices, and Power of Attorney (POA).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws applicable to fintech and trade finance, including factoring laws, international trade finance norms, and bill discounting regulations.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of relevant changes.
Eligibility
- Experience: 8–10 years
- Qualification: LL.B (LL.B + CS will be an added advantage)
