Details of the Job/Internship

Mondee is hiring a Manager – Compliance & Legal with 8–10 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal advisor on compliance, regulatory matters, business operations, and commercial risks.
• Oversee legal activities for group companies including corporate law, commercial contracts, employment law, data privacy, and IP.
• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse contracts such as customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, investor/shareholder documents, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws and sector-specific regulations including the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, RBI, labor laws, and data protection laws.
• Monitor statutory filings, board resolutions, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and implement legal policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for disputes, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
• Support M&A, fundraising, due diligence, and ESOP structuring activities.

Eligibility

• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in compliance and legal roles, preferably in tech-driven or digital businesses.
• Experience managing legal functions for multi-entity or group structures.
• Strong knowledge of Indian commercial, corporate, employment, and data protection laws.
• Experience with SaaS contracts, data privacy, IP protection, and platform terms.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to high-growth tech companies or startups preferred.
