Details of the Job/Internship

Skit.ai is looking candidate for the position of Legal & Compliance Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of contracts and ability to draw, negotiate, conclude and manage contracts related to B2B Software businesses
• Support service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, internal policies etc.
• Good understanding of GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA and other similar laws.
• Ability to coordinate with external law forms on business matters of the company.
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Good analytical, research and multi-tasking abilities to provide time-sensitive support on legal and regulatory issues in connection with the business operations
• Be independent in performing the functions (i.e., ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision).
• Flexibility to scale up to additional or new responsibilities at short notice.
• Ability to understand the business objectives and act as a business enabler, by providing correct and practical legal advise in relation to the business problem at hand.
• Good command over language for legal drafting purposes, in particular for contracts related to B2B software.
• Program manages all the compliance aspects of corporate secretarial items through external vendors
• Support during US business time is required

Eligibility

• 6-10 years of work experience in the legal domain
• Working experience with venture-backed companies (Series A / B / C / D) in the B2B verticals is a plus
• A self-motivated team player who can define, structure, and prioritize work for the team and who also has the flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate.
• Experienced with US agreements is a plus
• Strong organizational, planning, quantitative and problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking skills.
• History of effective multi-tasking, expectation setting, and escalation of issues where appropriate.
• Focused attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy in his/her work product.
• LLB - Corporate Law.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
