Details of the Job/Internship

Watch Your Health (WYH) is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Compliance Manager with 5+ years of experience to join them at their office in Thane.

Role and Responsibilities

• Understanding of WYH business & ensure all applicable laws are complied.
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Contract Management: Drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and other legal documents. Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
• ROC compliances, Corporate Governance, Draft various resolutions, minutes as per companies act
• Knowledge of Labor Laws, Companies Act, international ventures
• Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential legal and compliance risks to the company. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to prevent compliance violations.
• Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal and compliance matters. Promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
• External Relationships: Manage relationships with external advisors, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Additional knowledge of degree of CS preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional) a plus.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity and responsibility.
• Deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to our industry.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance legal and business considerations.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
