Details of the Job/Internship

Wenger & Watson is hiring a Legal Compliance Officer with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and draft agreements, board consents, and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate records of the legal structure of U.S. entities in compliance with policies and laws.
• Understand contractual terms like indemnification and liability limits.
• Manage legal invoices and ensure timely processing.
• Perform administrative tasks including document management and communication with stakeholders.
• Provide executive administrative support while handling confidential correspondence.
• Complete compliance forms and assist in legal entity qualification in the U.S.
• Handle multiple concurrent processes and special projects.
• Assist in project management tasks, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Proactively support customer service and legal compliance functions.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in Law or at least two years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
• Adaptable to changes, deadlines, and competing priorities.
