Details of the Job/Internship
Habot Connect DMCC is hiring a Legal Compliance Officer with 0–2 years of experience to join their remote Legal & Governance team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and update internal policies and procedures aligned with regulatory changes.
- Support compliance risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
- Assist in interpreting regulations and delivering compliance training.
- Track internal controls, regulatory updates, and prepare compliance reports.
- Support internal investigations with research and documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for data collection for auditors and regulators.
- Execute and monitor AML, ESR, and VAT/Corporate Tax controls.
- Draft Board Resolutions, meeting notices, and corporate documents.
- Prepare initial legal documents including share transfer deeds.
- Maintain digital documentation of board records and legal trackers.
- Review and update standard legal documents including website terms and privacy notices.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM/CS-Inter.
- 0–2 years of experience in legal, compliance, or corporate secretarial work.
- Knowledge of AML, ESR, VAT frameworks and compliance methodologies.
- Experience drafting corporate documents and resolutions.
- Strong written communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
Salary/Stipend
INR 18,000 to INR 22,000 per month.
