Details of the Job/Internship
OculusIT is looking for a qualified Company Secretary (CS) with an LLB degree to join their Legal & Compliance team at Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and handle MCA and other regulatory filings.
- Oversee corporate governance standards and advise senior management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Organize and facilitate Board and Shareholder meetings with agendas, notices, and minutes.
- Liaise with MCA, SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory authorities for timely filings.
- Provide legal advice on contracts, employment law, and corporate policies.
- Identify legal risks, manage litigation, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM or certifications in corporate governance preferred.
- 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate compliance and legal functions.
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws (Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA).
- Experience in IT/technology sector or multinational organizations is desirable.
