Details of the Job/Internship
Caresmith is hiring a Legal & Compliance Specialist with 2–4 years of experience to join their office in CST, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update compliance trackers across functions.
- Execute compliance requirements related to Legal Metrology, HR compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment, POSH), GST, MCA, and statutory filings.
- Ensure adherence to marketplace and marketing compliance guidelines.
- Support internal audits and assist in closing compliance gaps.
- Assist in filing, renewal, and tracking of trademarks and IP assets.
- Monitor online platforms for infringements and support takedown actions.
- Manage import documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Maintain accurate HSN classifications and compliance records.
- Track updates in import regulations and certification requirements.
- Identify compliance risks and support preventive measures and SOP implementation.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
- Respond to internal legal queries within timelines.
- Maintain organized legal and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants, lawyers, and regulatory authorities.
- Use compliance tools for tracking and documentation management.
Eligibility
- LLB.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of corporate, IP, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail and execution capability.
