Details of the Job/Internship

Quick Clean Laundry Solutions is in search of a meticulous and well-informed Legal Compliance Specialist to guarantee their firm's adherence to pertinent laws and regulations. The perfect candidate will have a crucial role in upholding legal compliance and overseeing related activities.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance requirements and implement necessary processes.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
• Investigate and address compliance violations, including reporting and resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
• Fast Typing speed.
• Participate in external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring the company's preparedness.
• Stay informed about changes in the legal and regulatory landscape that may impact the organization.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of required regulatory filings and reports.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field. A legal degree (JD) is a plus.
• Proven experience in a legal compliance role, preferably within service sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with compliance software and tools is a plus.
•  Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) are an advantage.
