Details of the Job/Internship
Quick Clean Laundry Solutions is in search of a meticulous and well-informed Legal Compliance Specialist to guarantee their firm's adherence to pertinent laws and regulations. The perfect candidate will have a crucial role in upholding legal compliance and overseeing related activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor, interpret, and stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance requirements and implement necessary processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Investigate and address compliance violations, including reporting and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Fast Typing speed.
- Participate in external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring the company's preparedness.
- Stay informed about changes in the legal and regulatory landscape that may impact the organization.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of required regulatory filings and reports.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field. A legal degree (JD) is a plus.
- Proven experience in a legal compliance role, preferably within service sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with compliance software and tools is a plus.
- Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) are an advantage.
