Details of the Job/Internship
RateGain is hiring a Legal & Compliance Specialist with 2–5 years of experience to manage contracts, litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, service agreements, licensing agreements, partnership agreements, and MOUs.
- Oversee and manage ongoing litigation, coordinating with external counsels and ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
- Monitor and manage the organization’s IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate exposure.
Eligibility
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a legal & compliance specialist.
- LLB degree from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, litigation processes, and corporate governance.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, time management, and discretion skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, able to multitask, resilient under pressure, and possesses a strong sense of ownership.
