Details of the Job/Internship
Zelestra is hiring a Legal Counsel (M&A) with 3–4 years of transactional experience to join their office in Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft M&A agreements including share purchase and shareholder agreements.
- Provide legal advice throughout the M&A lifecycle.
- Manage data rooms and coordinate due diligence.
- Advise internal teams on restructuring, purchase/sale of projects.
- Collaborate with external advisors, shareholders, bankers, and target companies.
Eligibility
- Law degree (preferably from a National Law University).
- High proficiency in English.
- 3–4 years of experience in transactional law (Tier 1 law firm experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indian laws including FDI norms and FEMA regulations.
- Specific experience in closing M&A transactions preferred.
