Details of the Job/Internship
Marathon Realty is hiring a Legal Consultant – Litigation (Retainer) with 5–7 years of experience to join their office in Mulund, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent the company before the City Civil Court and High Court.
- Draft and file pleadings, affidavits, and other civil case documents.
- Appear before revenue authorities such as the Tahsildar, SDO, Deputy Collector, and others.
- Manage legal matters related to the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA).
- Draft contracts, agreements, notices, pleadings, and conveyancing papers.
- Assist with legal due diligence and property verification.
- Attend hearings and coordinate schedules with internal teams.
- Draft and interpret legal documents in Marathi.
- Use MS Office tools for drafting, documentation, and communication.
Eligibility
- LLB with 5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation.
- Proficiency in Marathi (read, write, and draft).
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in civil, revenue, and real estate law preferred.
