Details of the Job/Internship

They are looking for a beginner-level Legal Consultant / Advocate who is passionate about the law and eager to gain real-world experience. The role is ideal for fresh law graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience.

The selected candidate will provide legal advice online, assist in case research, drafting, and client interactions, and work across various legal domains, including:

• Civil & Criminal Law.
• Property & Real Estate Law.
• Family Law (Marriage, Divorce, Child Custody, Inheritance)
• Consumer Protection & Dispute Resolution.
• Employment & Labor Laws.
• Basic Corporate & Business Law.

The role offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility to work remotely while attending office-based meetings when needed.

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Consultation & Client Interaction

• Assist clients by providing basic legal advice in various legal matters.
• Conduct one-on-one or group consultations online under guidance from senior advocates.
• Research case laws, statutes, and legal precedents to assist in legal problem-solving.

Legal Documentation & Case Support

• Help draft contracts, agreements, affidavits, legal notices, and petitions.
• Assist in reviewing legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Support senior lawyers in preparing case files and client legal reports.

Legal Compliance & Research

• Keep updated on new laws, amendments, and legal trends.
• Assist businesses in understanding compliance requirements and basic legal documentation.
• Conduct basic due diligence for legal matters related to clients.

Hybrid Work Model & Collaboration

• Conduct virtual consultations via video calls, emails, and legal platforms.
• Attend office meetings as required for case discussions and legal training.
• Collaborate with the internal legal team on case management and research.

Eligibility

• LLB (Completed) from a recognized university.
• 0 - 2 years of legal experience (Freshers are welcome to apply!).
• Basic understanding of civil, criminal, property, family, and consumer law.
• Good English communication skills (spoken & written) for client interactions.
• Strong legal research and document drafting skills.
• Comfortable with online legal consultations & virtual case discussions.
• Eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on legal experience.

Salary/Stipend
