Details of the Job/Internship

Suzlon Group is hiring for the position of Legal Associate (Contracts) to join their office in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, particularly in the Wind Energy sector, including Supply, BOP, E&C, Supervision, and other agreements related to SCM, IT, and HR.
• Ensure contractual compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks while safeguarding the company’s interests.

2. Legal Advisory

• Advise internal teams on legal matters including contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance with applicable laws.
• Support the formulation and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures to minimize legal exposure.

3. Regulatory & Compliance

• Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations impacting the company’s operations.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance requirements and coordinate with external counsel on regulatory and litigation matters as required.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Proven experience in contract law, regulatory advisory, and litigation within an industrial or energy-related sector is highly desirable.
