Details of the Job/Internship

Assotech Realty Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Legal Consultant with 5-10 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

 1. Legal Advisory & Compliance:

• Provide expert legal advice on real estate transactions, property acquisitions, and project development.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, municipal laws, land laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and interpret changes in real estate laws, regulations, and government policies to ensure the company’s compliance.

2. Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

• Handle and manage litigation and arbitration cases related to real estate disputes, contract breaches, and regulatory issues.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel for efficient case management.
• Develop strategies to resolve disputes effectively while minimizing financial and reputational risks.

3. Contract Drafting & Negotiation:

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements, including sale deeds, lease agreements, joint ventures, MoUs, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure legal contracts are comprehensive, risk-mitigated, and aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct due diligence to verify legal soundness in land acquisition, project financing, and partnership agreements.

4. Government & Regulatory Liaison:

• Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external agencies to facilitate smooth execution of real estate transactions.
• Engage in regulatory filings, approvals, and compliance documentation related to land use, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.

5. Internal Stakeholder Support:

• Work closely with sales, finance, and project teams to address legal concerns and contractual obligations.
• Provide training and legal awareness sessions to internal teams on compliance, contract structuring, and dispute resolution.
• Assist in corporate governance matters and ensure best practices in legal risk management.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Law (LLM) preferred.
• Extensive experience in legal functions within the real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of RERA, property laws, land acquisition laws, contract laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven expertise in handling complex litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution cases.
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Experience Required: 5 - 10 years in Legal Management, with a focus on Real Estate.
