Details of the Job/Internship

Blacksuit is hiring a Legal Consultant with 3–4 years of experience to join their team in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft critical legal documents including affidavits, complaints, legal notices, and pleadings.
• Manage and pursue cheque bounce cases under Section 138 of the NI Act and civil recovery suits.
• Support senior counsel in matters before the High Court and various district courts.
• Oversee court filings, maintain case trackers, and attend hearings as required.
• Conduct extensive legal research and prepare detailed case briefs for internal review.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts while ensuring institutional compliance.
• Resolve legal queries and manage disputes involving RBI-related regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate effectively between clients, external counsels, and internal business teams.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in both litigation and in-house legal roles.
• Proficiency in handling NI Act cases and civil recovery proceedings.
• Strong drafting, research, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to track complex litigation schedules and meet court-mandated deadlines.
• Familiarity with High Court procedures and filing protocols.
