CodeGama is hiring a Legal Consultant with 1 year of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and guidance on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and service agreements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries and internal notes.
- Assist in ensuring organizational compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Support ongoing or potential dispute resolution, arbitration, or litigation efforts.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as HR, Finance, and Sales to provide legal inputs.
- Maintain organized legal documentation and assist in updating internal legal databases.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council (if applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant legal experience (in-house or law firm).
- Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
- Solid understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.
