Details of the Job/Internship
COWRKS is hiring a Legal Consultant with experience of 4 to 6 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
- Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable/Convertible to Permanent Based on Performance)
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on business operations and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements, including leasing agreements, vendor contracts, service level agreements, and marketing partnership agreements etc.
- Support HR functions with labor law compliance and coordinate with compliance consultants to maintain legal standards across operations.
- Ensure adherence to real estate and co-working industry laws and regulations while identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.
- Manage disputes, grievances, and litigation processes efficiently.
- Conduct legal research on contract laws, arbitration laws, privacy rights, real estate law, and labor law, and share key developments with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal needs related to marketing, operations, and strategic initiatives.
Eligibility
- BALLB (Hons) or LLB from a recognized university.
- Expertise in contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of real estate laws and co-working industry dynamics is a plus.
- Experience: 4-6 Years.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build & foster relationships.
- Administrative & operational experience driving events.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Proactive.
- Result-oriented.
- Out-of-the-box thinker.
