Ekta World Developer is hiring a Legal Consultant with 6-12 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise management on property laws, RERA, MOFA, stamp duty, registration, and allied regulations.
- Ensure project compliance with MahaRERA and other statutory bodies.
- Track and interpret changes in real estate regulations to assess business impact.
- Draft, review, and vet real estate agreements (Agreements for Sale, Lease Deeds, MOUs, Development Agreements, JVs, Conveyance Deeds, etc.).
- Conduct due diligence on land/property titles and related documents.
- Ensure legal accuracy in sales, marketing, and promotional material.
- Represent or coordinate representation before MahaRERA, Consumer Forums, Civil Courts, and Tribunals.
- Handle customer complaints, settlements, and dispute resolution.
- Liaise with external counsels and track litigation progress.
- Guide internal teams (Sales, CRM, Projects, Finance) on legal and compliance requirements.
- Support in risk management, compliance audits, and corporate governance.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB / LLM from a reputed university (specialization in real estate law preferred).
- Experience: 6–12 years in the real estate sector, with strong exposure to RERA and property laws.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of RERA Act, MOFA, property transactions, registrations, and contract law.
