Details of the Job/Internship
Gehi & Associates is hiring a Legal Consultant with 1-3+ years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle inbound from potential clients seeking immigration assistance (e.g., green cards, work visas, spousal petitions).
- Conduct initial eligibility assessments and communicate the value of our legal services clearly and confidently.
- Build trust and rapport with clients, answering their legal questions with empathy and accuracy.
- Convert qualified leads into paying clients by explaining service packages, timelines, and legal support processes.
- Coordinate with legal operations and case managers to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, notes, and follow-ups using CRM and case management tools.
- Stay updated on U.S. immigration policies to provide current, relevant guidance.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to share insights from calls and improve conversion strategies.
Eligibility
- Law degree (J.D. or LLB) or equivalent; bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction is a plus but not mandatory.
- 1–3+ years of experience in immigration law or consulting, especially in a client-facing or sales role.
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills – ability to simplify legal concepts and build client trust.
- Familiarity with USCIS processes and common forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.).
- Experience working with CR systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and legal case management tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
