Gehi & Associates is hiring a Legal Consultant with 2+ years of experience to work remotely from India or South Africa.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from potential clients seeking immigration assistance such as green cards, work visas, and spousal petitions.
- Conduct initial eligibility assessments and clearly communicate the value of legal services.
- Build trust and rapport with clients by answering legal questions with empathy and accuracy.
- Convert qualified leads into paying clients by explaining service packages, timelines, and legal support processes.
- Coordinate with legal operations and case managers to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, notes, and follow-ups using CRM and case management tools.
- Stay updated on U.S. immigration policies to provide current and relevant guidance.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to share insights from calls and improve conversion strategies.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
- Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction is a plus but not mandatory.
- 2–3+ years of experience in immigration law or consulting, especially in a client-facing or sales role.
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills.
- Familiarity with USCIS processes and common forms (e.g., I-130, I-485, I-765).
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and legal case management tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Stable internet connection (WiFi) and a personal laptop.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
