The platform operates through products like Kuku FM, Guru, and Kuku TV. KUKU aims to promote Indian stories globally with a focus on innovation and user engagement.

Details of the Job/Internship

KUKU is hiring a Legal Counsel with around 3 years of experience to support contracts, intellectual property, and compliance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including copyright assignments, licensing, NDAs, service agreements, MoUs, and vendor contracts.
• Update terms and conditions, privacy policies, and compliance documents.
• Support commercial negotiations and legal risk assessment.
• Assist in managing trademarks, copyrights, and domain portfolios.
• Handle IP enforcement, including takedowns and anti-piracy actions.
• Support secretarial and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in legal due diligence and fundraising activities.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with around 3 years of experience.
• Prior experience in media, technology, or startup ecosystem is preferred.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
