Details of the Job/Internship
niogod™ is seeking a Legal Consultant with 1–2 years of experience to support its Data Privacy and Compliance function.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for GDPR compliance across the organization.
- Oversee data acquisition and processing activities to ensure alignment with European data protection laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), NDAs, and licensing contracts with global partners and suppliers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Privacy by Design principles in AI training and data systems.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Draft, update, and maintain internal compliance policies and external privacy notices.
- Monitor evolving data protection regulations and advise stakeholders on compliance implications.
Eligibility
- LL.M. or equivalent degree in Law with a focus on IT law, data protection, or corporate compliance.
- 1–2 years of professional legal experience, preferably in a technology company or specialized law firm.
- Strong practical knowledge of GDPR and its application in high-tech environments.
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance for technical teams.
