Details of the Job/Internship

OPTUS HOUSING is hiring for the position of Legal Consultant with 3-4 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent the organization or its clients in legal proceedings before civil, criminal, and quasi-judicial forums.
• Draft, review, and vet a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, affidavits, petitions, legal notices, and opinions.
• Advise on litigation strategy, regulatory compliance, and legal risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case laws and legislative changes.
• Support dispute resolution and negotiation processes.
• Maintain case records, follow up on litigation matters, and ensure timely reporting to internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; LL.M. is an advantage.
• 3–4 years of active litigation/court practice is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of court procedures in both civil and criminal matters.
• Bar Council of India registration is highly preferred.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.

Salary/Stipend
