Details of the Job/Internship
Qube Cinema is hiring a Legal Consultant with 4–6 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Drafting, review, and negotiation of business agreements, MoUs, and amendments.
- Drafting/review of HR, Admin, and support function documents.
- Maintenance of contracts and record keeping.
Litigation Management:
- Drafting legal notices and reply notices.
- Liaising with external counsels and monitoring litigation progress.
- Maintaining litigation register.
Regulatory Compliance & Policy Development:
- Formulating legal compliance checklists.
- Reviewing internal policies for legal implications.
- Ensuring contracts and policies comply with statutory requirements.
Others:
- Providing legal support and advice to management.
- Assisting with trademark registration and IP record maintenance.
- Staying updated on statutory changes and enhancing legal knowledge within the company.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed institution.
- 4–6 years of experience in any law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and individually.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
