Details of the Job/Internship

Sri Sri Tattva is hiring a Mid-Level Legal Consultant with relevant experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role includes providing comprehensive legal support, drafting and reviewing legal documents, addressing legal issues, and offering professional legal advice. It involves ensuring compliance with legal standards, assessing business processes for legal risks, and supporting various departments with legal requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work on domestic and international transactions, agreements, and other legal documents related to manufacturing, trade operations, collaborations, business, funding, and financial or securities offerings.
• Handle the company’s intellectual property matters.
• Manage the company’s disputes, ADR matters, and litigation before courts and authorities.
• Coordinate with advocates and consultants for specific cases.
• Conduct legal research as required.
• Provide legal advice as needed.
• Attend meetings and negotiations as required.
• Experience in the FMCG industry is highly beneficial.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or Master’s degree (LLM).
• Proficiency in legal matters related to the FMCG sector.
• Skills in preparing legal documents and drafting and evaluating contracts.
• Experience in providing legal advice and resolving corporate legal issues.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and industry-specific regulations, including consumer laws, the Legal Metrology Act, Food Safety and Standards, the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, intellectual property laws, property and rent laws, health and wellness services laws, contract laws, the Companies Act, and other commercial and compliance laws related to manufacturing, trade, and business operations.
