Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan attorneys is looking for a meticulous and research-oriented Legal Content Associate to join their core content team to join them at their office in Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor official gazettes, government portals and legislative sources for newly enacted laws, amendments and repeals.
• Analyze legal texts to identify implications, classifications and categorization for database indexing.
• Ensure timely and accurate updation of statutes, rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with tech, editorial, and legal taxonomy teams to streamline content tagging and improve user accessibility.
• Maintain a changelog/version history and ensure traceability of all legislative updates.
• Prepare concise digests/notes where required to summarize key amendments or new laws.

Eligibility

• Experience in legal research, editorial, compliance or statutory monitoring roles.
• Excellent understanding of legislative structure in India (Central + State).
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for legal accuracy.
• Familiarity with online legal research tools, gazette tracking and regulatory websites.
• Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and prioritize updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university. LL.M. is a plus.
• Experience in legal publishing, editorial or content management platforms.
• Exposure to digital taxonomies and classification systems.
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of data tools like Excel, XML tagging or CMS platforms.

Salary/Stipend
