Details of the Job/Internship
Mehta Law Chambers is hiring a Legal Content Writer Intern to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and draft high-quality legal content, including LinkedIn posts, LinkedIn articles, website copy, and updates aligned with the firm’s practice areas and positioning.
- Create visually engaging LinkedIn creatives in Canva, including single-image posts, carousel PDFs, quote cards, checklists, and legal explainer graphics.
- Draft text-based posts highlighting legal insights, industry updates, anonymized case studies, firm achievements, and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with lawyers and internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency.
- Apply LinkedIn best practices, including strong opening hooks, value-driven structure, and relevant hashtag usage.
- Track performance using LinkedIn analytics and refine topics, formats, and posting cadence based on engagement.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in legal content writing, particularly for LinkedIn (law firm pages and individual leader profiles).
- Strong understanding of the legal landscape and ability to simplify complex legal concepts into clear content without excessive jargon.
- Proficiency in Canva for LinkedIn-ready designs, including templates, resizing, and export formats (PNG for posts, PDF for carousels).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn content best practices and trends.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and compliance sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate approvals with legal stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience building Canva Brand Kits and reusable templates.
- Preferred: Background in law/legal studies or experience working with advocates, in-house counsel, or law firms.
Salary/Stipend
