Details of the Job/Internship

Prudential Health India is hiring a Legal Contract Manager in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of in-house experience in procurement contracts, particularly in technology companies, or a mix of in-house and law firm experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts (IT service agreements, software licenses, vendor contracts, NDAs).
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and data protection laws.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and tools for efficiency.
• Provide strategic legal advice to mitigate risks and align with business goals.
• Work closely with technology, procurement, and compliance teams.

Eligibility

• JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree/practical experience.
• 5+ years of in-house or law firm experience in procurement contracts, preferably in tech companies.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating high-value agreements.
• Ability to draft contracts in plain English.
• Excellent legal judgment and attention to detail.
