Details of the Job/Internship

Cargill is hiring for the position of Legal Contract Specialist with experience of 8+ years to join their office remotely. This is a fixed-term contractual role for a period of 6 months.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts to meet business requirements
• End-to-end contract lifecycle management using the CLM tool and initiating timely actions to finalize the request
• Handling contractual correspondence, drafting with the internal businesses, vendors, and customers
• Close collaboration with various business stakeholders, contract specialists, country commercial lawyers, specialist lawyers, and paralegals
• Other duties as assigned

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s/ Post graduation degree in Legal/Law
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in reviewing commercial contracts
• Should be able to independently work on English language commercial contracts - procurement, confidentiality, IT, Sales, and other mid-high complexity contracts
• Comfortable working with Contract Lifecycle Management technology
• Must have experience in handling commercial contracts
• The incumbent is expected to work 40 hours a week which may extend depending on the business requirement
• Exposure to global commercial contracts is an added advantage
