Details of the Job/Internship

FashionTV India is hiring for the position Legal - Contract Specialist to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including:
  • Franchise Agreements, Retail & Agency Agreements, MoUs, LoIs
  • Lease Deeds, Sale Agreements/Deeds, Leave & License Agreements
  • Advertising & Service Agreements, SLAs
  • Conduct legal due diligence of property/title documents
• Calculate and advise on applicable stamp duties and registration fees.
• Represent the company in negotiations and provide legal counsel on commercial and operational matters.
• Handle legal metrology issues, including drafting applications, labeling compliance, and attending regulatory webinars.
• Provide advisory support on corporate, property, and regulatory matters.
• Liaise with internal departments and external legal counsel on legal queries and proceedings.
• Attend legal proceedings and coordinate with government bodies for regulatory and tender-related matters.
• Contribute to the development of internal legal policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB or LLM from a recognized institution
• Experience: Strong background in non-litigation legal work, particularly in franchise, retail, and real estate agreements
• Skills Required:
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of due diligence and property documentation
• Familiarity with legal metrology and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal software tools
• Exceptional analytical, reasoning, and communication skills
• Confident, self-motivated, and business-oriented mindset

Salary/Stipend
