Details of the Job/Internship
One97 Communications Ltd (Paytm) is hiring for the position of Legal Contracts - Manager with experience of 8-10 years to join their Noida office.
Role and Responsibilities
The major responsibilities would include being a part of the legal Contracts team to ensure effective management of legal and contractual matters, in addition to identification and mitigation of legal risks for the organization. The person will be a part of the legal team and assist senior legal colleagues in special and upcoming projects under the e-commerce and fintech divisions of Paytm.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing documents (NDAs, Contracts, lending documentation, distribution contracts, loan agreements, collection service agreements, letters, etc) from a legal perspective and ensuring minimal/no risk to the organization.
- Assisting in the resolution of contractual issues that may arise while working with clients, partners, service providers, and vendors.
- Negotiating with external counterparts (third-party banks and financial institutions) on digital lending agreements.
- Identifying the legal risks and research on applicable laws including RBI guidelines concerning the development of new products.
Eligibility
- 8-10 years of experience in end-to-end contract management and experience working with a technology company/ are highly preferred.
- The candidate must be a law graduate, LL.B from top tier institute.
