Details of the Job/Internship
Foundry is seeking a Legal Contracts Negotiator with 4–6 years of experience to join its fast-paced legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, master services agreements, statements of work, professional service agreements, order forms, and data privacy agreements.
- Resolve contract-related issues with both external parties and internal stakeholders.
- Develop creative contractual solutions and draft alternative terms, working closely with legal counsel.
- Ensure all non-standard terms receive appropriate approvals per internal policies.
- Educate internal teams on contract terms and promote consistency in legal obligations.
- Maintain and improve legal administrative processes and documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Eligibility
- University-level degree or equivalent with 4–6 years of contract negotiation experience with customers or vendors.
- Training/education in law, legal writing, negotiation, or paralegal skills (IAACM or equivalent certification required).
- Familiarity with media organizations preferred.
- Must be able to work 2 PM – 11 PM IST.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of commercial contract management and commercial law.
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and document management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional with a team-oriented mindset.
