Details of the Job/Internship

Paytm is hiring a Legal Contracts – AVP with 15+ years of experience to join its legal team in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline, negotiate, and finalize contracts including Banking Alliances, Corporate PSAs, Escrow, Marketing, Acquiring, Distribution, EDC contracts, proposals, RFPs, and related agreements.
• Resolve contractual issues with clients, partners, service providers, and vendors.
• Collaborate with compliance, product, finance, and business teams on special projects.
• Analyze business requirements, identify legal risks, and propose practical solutions.
• Manage assigned business transactions end-to-end, including general corporate advisory.
• Research and assess new business models under e-commerce, FEMA, and IT laws.
• Evaluate and update agreement templates and legal processes to ensure compliance.
• Provide legal support on privacy, IT, and regulatory matters.

Eligibility

• Law graduate (LL.B.) from a reputed institute; preference for top-tier law schools (NLUs, DU, ILS, Symbiosis).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in end-to-end contract management.
• Prior experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
• Expertise in compliance with e-commerce, FEMA, IT, and data protection laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Salary/Stipend
