Details of the Job/Internship

LawChakra is hiring Legal Correspondents/Legal Reporters with 0–2 years of experience to join its editorial and reporting team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Track and report live court proceedings, judgments, and legal developments.
• Create real-time legal updates, tweets, and threads.
• Simplify complex legal information for a general audience.
• Coordinate with the editorial team for fact-checking and publishing.
• Stay updated on Supreme Court, High Court, and legal policy developments.
• Maintain accuracy, speed, and journalistic integrity.

Eligibility

• Background in law, with LLB students or graduates preferred.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Active and confident presence on Twitter (X).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Interest in legal journalism and court reporting.
• Prior experience in legal media or news is a plus but not mandatory.

Salary/Stipend
