Details of the Job/Internship
CNH Industrial is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of minimum 7 years to join their office in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle and manage the business contract profile from inception to closure.
- Draft and vet diverse legal documents, including commercial contracts, agreements, tenders, and engagement letters.
- Conduct extensive legal research and prepare formal opinions and risk assessment matrices.
- Coordinate with business units and brief senior advocates or external lawyers on critical matters.
- Conduct training and legal awareness sessions for both legal and non-legal colleagues.
- Assist company officials in representing the organization during complex commercial negotiations.
- Prepare and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) regarding contingencies, provisions, and payments for timely stakeholder submission.
- Ensure all legal documentation aligns with global productivity and sustainability standards.
Eligibility
- Law Graduate (LL.B. / LL.M.) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 7 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Deep, expert-level knowledge of Contract Law and its practical applications.
- Preferred additional qualifications: CS (Company Secretary), CA (Chartered Accountant), or MBA.
- Strong ability to communicate complex legal risks to diverse business stakeholders.
- Proven experience in negotiation and stakeholder management within an international landscape.
