Details of the Job/Internship
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is hiring a Trademark Counsel with 4–6 years of experience in trademark law to manage its global trademark portfolio and IP-related actions to work with them at Hyderabad location.
Role and Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- LLM in Intellectual Property Law (preferred).
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in trademark law.
Eligibility
- Conduct and review trademark searches, applications, renewals, and oppositions.
- Provide risk analysis and strategic advice for brand protection and domain name issues.
- Handle office actions, legal notices, and counterfeit enforcement.
- Maintain and manage trademark portfolio databases (e.g., Iolite, TrademarksNow).
- Draft affidavits, oppositions, and related IP pleadings.
- Support internal teams and liaise with external counsels on IP matters.
- Prepare documents for Trademarks Registry, IPAB, and courts.
- Perform case law research and legal drafting.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
